Your profile

Your profile is your personal account page. The two things you manage here are your signature and your emergency contact — the rest of your account (password and two-step verification) is handled from the sign-in flow.

Who this is for

Every user has a profile and can edit their own. You can only edit your own profile — staff records are managed by practice managers and admins (see Managing staff).

Your signature

The signature on your profile is what FCR applies when you sign clinical documents.

  1. Go to Profile.
  2. Draw your professional signature in the signature box.
  3. Save it.

From then on, that signature is applied to documents you sign. A few things to know:

  • Set it before you start documenting. Until you've drawn one, documents you sign use a plain placeholder instead of your signature.
  • Replacing it only affects future documents. Anything you've already signed keeps the signature it had at the time — the record of past sign-offs doesn't change.

Your emergency contact

Your emergency contact is the person FCR would point to if something happened to you at work — a name, how they're related to you, and a phone number.

  1. Go to Profile.
  2. In the Emergency contact card, add the person's name, relationship, and phone.
  3. Save it. You can update it any time.

Name and phone are required; relationship is optional. There's one emergency contact per person — editing simply replaces what's there.

Who can see it

This is a private detail. Only you, your direct supervisor, and your agency's practice managers and admins can see or change your emergency contact. Coworkers can't — it doesn't appear anywhere they can reach.

Your shadowing log

If a supervisor has recorded that you completed shadowing, you'll see your shadowing log in your profile's credentials section — the dates, times, and services you shadowed for. You can view your own log, but you can't add to it: a supervisor records the entries. For the full picture, see Staff credentials → Shadowing log.

Your password and two-step verification

These aren't changed on the profile page — they live with sign-in:

  • Password — use Forgot password on the sign-in page to set a new one.
  • Two-step verification — set up at first sign-in; if you lose your authenticator, a practice manager resets it for you.

Both are covered in Logging in & your account.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change my name, phone number, or job title? Those aren't editable on the profile page yet. If something needs correcting, ask your practice manager. (Your emergency contact is the exception — you manage that yourself, right on the profile page.)

Can my coworkers see my emergency contact? No. Only you, your direct supervisor, and your agency's practice managers and admins can see it. It doesn't show up anywhere a coworker can reach.

I drew the wrong signature — can I replace it? Yes. Draw a new one on your profile; it applies to documents you sign from then on. Already-signed documents keep their original signature.

Where do I change my password? From the sign-in page, using Forgot password — see Logging in & your account.
