What's new
What's new is a running list of updates and improvements to FCR, written in plain language by the FCR team. When we ship something — a new document type, a faster workflow, a fix worth knowing about — it shows up here so you're never guessing what changed.
It's a companion to Announcements: announcements are notices your practice manager posts to your agency, while What's new is the FCR team telling you about the product itself.
Where to find it
Click your name in the top-right corner to open the Profile menu, then choose What's new. The newest update is at the top.
What's new is for the oversight team — supervisors, practice managers, and admins. Front-line staff members don't see this menu item; the updates that matter to their day-to-day still reach them through the app itself.
What each update looks like
Every entry is short and to the point:
- A title and the date it was released.
- A plain-language summary of what changed and why it helps.
- Sometimes a Learn more link that opens the matching article here in the help center.
Nothing technical, no jargon — just what's different and what it means for you.
When there's a bigger update
For updates worth flagging, you may also see a slim "New in FCR: …" banner just under the top bar the next time you load a page. It works exactly like any other announcement — read it and click the × to dismiss it. It's simply a nudge pointing you back here to What's new for the details.
Was this update useful?
Under each entry you'll see Was this update useful? with a Yes and a No. Tap either one — that's it. If you want to say more, click Add a note and leave a sentence about what worked or what didn't.
Your feedback goes straight to the FCR team and helps us decide what to build and refine next.
Only the FCR team sees your response and note — not your agency, not your supervisor, not other users. You can change your answer or edit your note anytime; the most recent one is what counts.
